The Group's Upcoming Itinerary
Our "End of Year" meeting will be on
Thursday, November 13, 2003
at the VFW (Veterans for Foreign Wars) Hall on Oscawana Lake Road in Putnam
Valley, New York. It will be from 7 to 8 PM.

Here are some of the possible ACTIVITIES that we have been discussing
during the last few meetings: and MEET & GREET sessions at the spacious
Veteran's for Foreign Wars (VFW) Hall in Putnam Valley. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT
YOU THINK OR IF YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS OF YOUR OWN.
1) A THEATRE GROUP - Utilizing the new beautiful facility at the Putnam
Valley High School,
And/or a mobile and even outdoor troupe to perform in the region.
Comprised of MHF&A group attendees, of course.
2) AN ABSTRACT PIECE - At the VFW Hall space -- our artists stretch fabrics
and hang props in front of a dark backdrop - create three dimensional lighting
by using colored gels on semitransparent fabrics and solid objects; then perform
and vignettes with a common theme.
a) spoken word/poetry (acting)
b) musical or vocal performance
c) improvisational dance
d) videotape and edit the piece, adding more sound effects and layering the
images
